RAHEEL’s 3rd Birthday…

20 November 2013… my beloved son Raheel Adli reached 3yrs old! Owhh tak sangka anak bonda dah 3 tahun! For his birthday this year, we decided to take him to KOTA KERIANGAN GentingHIghlands! Naik cable car, and for him to enjoy his day at the indoor park..

Early morning we started our journey to the cable car station. Raheel was very excited and bonda excited even more because this is first time for Raheel to experience cable car.. and he pronounce it as becker car.. haha..

In the cable car along the journey down up the highlands Raheel kept mumbling “wahhh.. wahhh.. cantikk… tinggi nyer… wahhhhh…” hehehe… im glad he enjoyed the scenery. Nature lover nih… macam bonda kan?

When we reached the top station, we proceed to the indoor park, bought tickets and enjoy!!!! Raheel kata “naik becker car… (cable car), naik ems… (tak tau ape ni), naik train, train ade bell kiting..kiting..kiting… naik car pusing2, raheel kena drive, corner2…” hehe.. that’s the line that he kept on saying on the way back home up until today… he seems to enjoy the birthday treat very much! Ape tak nya? Puas dia main berkali kali kali especially car pusing2 tu. Sampai letih sangat2 and time makan pon boleh lelap… hehehe..

Come back from genting, we went straight to tok ayah tok ibu’s house to celebrate Raheel’s birthday with them pulak… at this party atuk lah org paling excited sekali… and we enjoyed ice cream cake yang sedap itew!!

The next day, we went to bonda’s kampong pulak. This time we brought the party to sijangkang! We celebrate Raheel’s birthday together with my November nieces & nephews. 2 cakes were provided since the party was huge! Almaklumlah.. family besar… and memang havoc and enjoyable!

Tak jadi Made in Korea, Winter Sonata... made in Malaysia thorbaekkk!!

ini cerita dari hujung tahun 2013... biasalah, dah dekat2 nak hujung tahun tu aku mulalah berkira2 untuk buat perancangan tahun 2014. Raheel pun dah masuk 3 tahun, nanti November 2014 dia dah 4 tahun... orang-orang sekeliling pon dah bunyik2 suruh kami tambah anak.. haihhh... ikut hati malas nak pregnen lagi, tapi takkan lah Raheel sorang jer kan?dan demi memenuhi kehendak mereka2 semua... kami pon plan lah untuk menambah zuriat...

perancangan asal, projek anak akan dijanlankan pada awal tahun 2014 supaya aku bersalin bajet2 hujung tahun dalam bulan November jugak supaya birthday dia dekat2 dengan Raheel. senang nak celebrate... sekali harung jer.. jimat sikit! hahaha... dah plan baek punya! kalo masa Raheel was made in kinabalu, untuk adik Raheel kami plan nak ke korea.. made in korea winter sonata! tapi kita hanya merancang...hehehe...

hujung bulan November 2013, tak semena2 aku rasa heartburn. sehari.. dua hari... ehh silap makan ke? pegi klinik amek ubat, gaviscon. masuk hari ke tiga.. ke empat.. sampai seminggu pon tak hilang2 heart burn aku ni... dah kenapa???? bila dah heartburn selera makan memang ke laut lah... ada satu hari tu abang aku buat kenduri, hidang nasik ayam, selalu memang laju aku makan, tapi kali ni nak telan nasik tu rasa macam nak telan pasir.. ape hal??? ishhh tak kan kot.. period memang belom lagi coz period aku memamg kadang2 lambat. tak kan pregnan... lagipon protection baek punya.... hahaha..

heartburn.. heartburn... makin lama makin teruk... air liur pulak selalu berkumpul banyak sampai tak terbendung... badan pulak tak sedap... hubby pon dok pelik.. takkan pregnen?? entahhh.. kalo ikut logik memang takkan lahhh... tapi masa aku pregnen raheel dulu memang aku heartburn teruk.. ini dah berminggu2 aku heartburn tak hilang2. mungkin kot..

so hubby pon beli kan pregnancy test kit. aku tunggu sampai lepas seminggu dari tarikh aku sepatutnya period. then baru buat test. jeng jeng jengggg... terkejut beruk aku and hubby.. sekali ada dua line da... ishhh macma mana lah boleh ter pregnan sebelum masanya ni???? pelik sungggguh!! ape pun rezeki Allah... kami terima dengan gumbiranya!

baby ni memang baby terbaik yang sangat kuat! dalam pada ada protection tu pon dia buleh tembus jugak! memang terbaik, terkuat dan terhebat lah! semoga jadi anak yang hebat juga ye....

Round2 Sentosa Island Singapore..

 It was on June 2013, finally after few times kuar masuk Singapore we get the chance to pay a visit to Sentosa Island.

We went to Singapore to celebrate our cousin’s wedding and we extend our stay just for Sentosa Island!

Credit to hubby’s cousin- Mira the tourist guide!! Without her it will be challenging for us to get to and getting around the island. Mira guide us on how to get to the island with the most enjoying and cost effective way! Hehehe.. jimat2… dah la tourist guide fee tak yah bayar!

I wish to write about our journey on detail so that it can be guidance to other people that would like to visit Sentosa Island, but I’ve lost my memory on that. Hehehe.. so basically what’s left on my mind is that it was a tiring yet fun and exciting trip!

We get to the island by walking along the boardwalk with only $1 entry fee per person. I still remember during that time haze was about to attack Southeast Asia… the environment was all greyish… tapi the air pollution index still not at hazardous level la.. hehe.. sib baik kami awal sikit…

At the island we visited the universal studio (just the globe), hardrock hotel (just passing by), Merlion (without going in) and we visited the beach! Hahaha.. beach lah sangat… macam bedek punya beach.. hihi.. 

Basically we were just round2 the island on the surface. Next time we will definitely come again to really enjoy the island especially the hard rock hotel and the universal studio! Yeahhhh!!!

horrific flying experience

If my flying to Bali experience was awesome (read it here), it was a different story for my flying back home experience… it started with delayed of the flight. The departure time was supposedly on 4.05pm but was postponed due to bad weather. Yup, it was raining at that time. But another airlines elok jer landed without any problem. Only our flight je yang delayed. It was delayed for 3 hours. Being told that the pilot had to land in Surabaya airport then back to bali when the weather is passable. 

It was the longest flight delay that I’ve ever experienced. Luckily they provide some refreshment to keep us cool, otherwise bila perut lapar mau ade yang mengamuk! Hoho… 

At 7.00pm finally we were allowed to embark. Ambiance in the cabin was warm. Very warm hat it make us sweat. Hwmm… while passengers taking their seats during preparation for the departure, suddenly the airplane lights blackout and the engine shutdown. Huhh? Terkejut! Dah la panas… what’s wrong?? Then they tried many times to restart the engine. Many many times… after the engine is on for few seconds it turn off again… it happen several times. It seriously was bothering me. And I am sure it wasn’t only me. All the other passengers also seem worried about the situation. One of them stands up and asked the flight attendant about the condition of the airplane. I overheard she explained it is because the lack of energy from the ground to ignite the engine. What the…?? Hwmm.. Whatever it is it still makes me worry.

I was very very worried that I feel like abandoning the airplane and buy another ticket to fly back home. I started visualizing the Final Destinations movie where the airplane crash and they all die. Ye lah… dah la delayed, cabin panas, pastu engine on off pulak, pastu ada baby in the plane nangis punya kuat (panas lah tu..), environment masa tu memang disturbing. There must be something wrong with the airplane. What if it fails during departing? What if the power shuts down and engines turn off at 40000ft in the air?? What if it blows? What if?? What if?? It was 3 hours journey tau… and what if I die?? What if my hubby dies?? What if we both die?? Kesiannyer Raheel… time tu terbayang muka dia and rasa nak nangis dah! Haha.. Fortunately hubby kept his cool and calms me down. Hihihi… tu lah.. kurang knowledge about airplane, tu yang panic tak tentu pasal tu… hehehe…

Anyway, we safely departed from Ngurah Rai Airport and safely landed in KLIA… although during the 3 hours flight we went through few times of air turbulence. Luckily the flight attendants were very friendly, kind and helpful. Macam tetau je aku ni tgh nervous sampai tertumpahkan air! Hehehe.. hoh sekotak tisu dia bagi kt aku. Pastu kacang selonggok, coklat kit kat lagi bebanyak… hihihi… then siap boleh sembang2… MH is Malaysian Hospitality… 

No matter what, I was so glad when the airplane touched the ground though the landing wasn’t very smooth. I guess the pilot is still new with boeing 777 and lack of experience on handling that huge bird… anyhow… thank god we are safe to have many more flying experience… and hope for the good ones, and no more horrifying one… enough la… hihi..

Honeymoon the Return (5th anniv) - Bali

Hard rock hotel… hard rock hotel… hahaha.. bukan heart break hotel ye.. tapi hard rock hotel.. hihih… yeahh! That’s where we stayed for our honeymoon in Bali on 12 May- 14 May 2013. Boleh kate the best hotel we have ever stayed lah… thank you hubby for choosing (paying for) that hotel! Memang rock!

Our 3 days 2 nights ‘honeymoon the return in Bali’ was amazing! And because this is our 2nd time to Bali, we self arrange our trip. We weren’t using travel agency service that provide packages as usual. We made our own package! Hahaha.. hotel and all activities are made by online booking.

For our hard rock Hotel we book through Agoda, for Lembongan Island beach club Hai Cruise we book from Balionlines.com and for our spa we booked at Bali Green Spa. It was very very easy to Self arranged trip to Bali as it is one of the most popular tourist destinations. Everything is available online!

We departed from KLIA at 12.05pm and arrive at 3.05pm. From the airport we took a taxi. Fare is 45,000IDR around RM15 lah… ok lah kan… but make sure you buy the ticket at the counter. Kalo idak mau kena titik bayor lebih! Hehe..

After about about 20 minutes journey we arrived at Kuta area. Hardrock hotel located just in front of the Kuta Beach. For every vehicle that entering the hotel area, they must undergo a security check. Bukak boot, bukak bonet, siap check bawah2 kreta tu lagi… the taxi driver told us they are looking for bomb. What??!!! Uhhh gerunnyer aku… huhuhu… Bali was once attacked by terrorist long time ago and Kuta is a hot spot for the attack … so they took serious precautions towards the tourist safety… hwmm bagus lah… I feel secured stay in the hotel because it was guarded 24hrs and only guests are allowed to be in the area. 

Out from the taxi we were greeted with a huge welcome! Yeahh... I like! At the reception, I presented the Agoda slip and requested for a room with nice view. We get just what we asked, view from our room is superb! Facing the beautiful landscape, quiet during the day but happening at night because we can enjoy live band music from our room balcony. Upon check in we received a welcome drink, discounts coupon for Hard Rock merchant, spa and other various services. The best part is we get complimentary photography session. That one I will not miss lah… definitely! Hihihi… so, we make an arrangement with the hotel for that session on our 2nd day.. the result? jumping photo! check it here in this entry.

After settle down and have some rest, we proceed with our first activity which is exploring the Kuta area and hunt for food. Hubby suggested for McDonalds as it is the most trusted food to eat because it has certified by Majlis Ulama Indonesia, but I want to try Indonesian food. So we walked along the Kuta road but there is no nasi padang restaurant or anything similar in the area. Then we find the Beach Walk Complex. Aha.. maybe there is food court inside. So we explore that huge shopping mall and finally find the food court.  Macam2 adaaa…. Penang char kuey tiaw pon ada-tapi non halal ok.. 

We walk around the food court to survey our dinner. And my eyes catch a glimpse at the words Nasi Campur.. my heart said “nyumm, Indonesian food!” but when I read further it stated “Nasi Campur & Babi Guling” ohh noOoo! Punah harapan.. hahhaa.. What do u expect kan? This is not Malaysia where all meal sells in food court are Halal… hwmm.. so we keep looking and finally find a stall that sells Indian food and have the halal sign. Hwmmm boley la… walopon kesucian tempat tu diragui, at least there is halal sign. Indonesian food lah sangat kan?? Huhu.. 

Food there is expensive ok… we ordered lamb briyani with lassy and tandori chiken naan with chai tea, bill is around RM60…. Hahhaa… amek kau! Luckily the food is not bad at all. Kenyang perut… Alhamdulillah….

After dinner, we loiter around the shopping mall. For me there is nothing special there, just like any other shopping complexes… so we decided to go back to our hotel to rest for tomorrow we have to wake up early for our cruise trip!

Early morning wake up! After breakfast ala vegetarian, (don’t dare to consume food that contain meat) we waited at the lobby for pick up to Benoa harbor for the Lembongan Island beach club cruise. 

At the beach club we ride the banana boat and swim in the swimming pool. I don’t dare kayaking or swimming in the sea because the wave is extremely strong as we reach there during the high tides. We only we walk along the beach after the water level going low in the evening.

About the food for lunch, telan jer lah mane yang confirm tak haram walopon kesuciannye diragui…. They served BBQ lunch, several of food including pork lah of course. Glup! Next time datang bawak bekal ye… Huhu..

Anyway, overall, two thumbs up for Lembongan Island Beach Club Hai Cruise! We pay USD 86/person, total USD172 for the trip = RM550++, quite pricey but worth it. The journey was amazing! Cuma the wave was too huge and make me sea sick. Tapi kejap jer.. and it was part of the adventure, not interrupting the fun and excitement at all.. 

We reached our hotel around 5.00pm. After rest and freshen up, we went out for souvenir hunting. We stop by Hard Rock Café to look at the menu. Hwmm… we doubt it... and we decided not to have dinner there… so we proceed with our souvenir hunting until we feel that we can no longer walk! lenguh!! Hahaha… Then we stop by McDolands and tapau for dinner back in our room. After dinner we thought to watch live band at the centre stage but we are too tired that we end up watching it in our room, live on TV. Hwmm lagi best!

Our last day and it’s our spa day! After breakfast we waited at the lobby for pick up to the spa. Purposely set spa on our last day. After tiring exciting days of activities we conclude it with spa treatment, Ohh how nice... hehe... 

Bali Green Spa… the front part of the spa is not that impressive but the back yard…. Perghhhh!! Who expect that there is a mini bali country yard behind that building?? We were warmly greeted and served with orange refreshing drink and cold towel while waited for them to prepare a gazebo for us. Actually you can choose either to do the treatment in a room or in gazebo. And we choose it to be in gazebo lah of course… then we choose the scrub, lavender for hubby and coffee for me…

We took the 2 hours spa that include aromatic foot bath, Balinese massage, foot massage and body scrub. We only pay USD50 for 2 persons. Very reasonable and I think that it is very cheap for the satisfied service and quality of treatment. 2 thumbs up!!

After refreshing hours in spa, we back to our hotel. I requested for late check out and they extended it to 1pm. Hwmm… We only have little time to spare in the hotel for taking picture… we don’t even have time to swim in their huge swimming pool.. ishhh rugi. But it’s ok. It will be the reason for us to come again! Just to enjoy the swimming pool. Hehe..

We check out and took hotel transport to airport, 75,000IDR and we pay 100,000 IDR including tip for the driver = RM30++. On the way we drop by a souvenir shop for last minute shopping. It is called Krisna Ole ole khas bali. I think it’s the best place to buy souvenir… then we proceed to airport…. and get ready to leave Bali and make plan to come again someday. Hehhee.. belum balik dah rasa nak datang lagi… that how good Bali is!

At the airport, we waited for boarding time and unfortunately our flight delayed for 3 hours. And I had the most horrific flying experience! I will tell in my next entry… tungguuu… hehehe..

Birthday surprise for hubby- 40000ft on the air!

Yeah, before I continue with the story of our 5th year wedding anniversary honeymoon, let me share the story about my hubby 31st birthday ye… his birthday was on 11th May and our flight to Bali was on 12th May. So, besides honeymooning, this Bali trip was also dedicated for Hubby’s birthday.

This year hubby got in-advance birthday gift from me. 2 weeks before his birthday I bought him a pioneer home theater system with karaoke function. Home theater set is one of things in his long wish list. Nak tengok movie bedeBang BedebUng katenye… I decided to give him this gift so that I can also tumpang sekaki berkaraoke! That’s why we bought one with karaoke function! Hahaha…

Then I told hubby that’s it for his birthday. No surprises like previous2 years. Birthday gift pon pegi pilih sama-sama, beli sama-sama tapi bayar I bayar sorang-sorang lah.. hehehe.. and hubby as usuall lah, it’s ok katenye… everytime I said “no surprise for you this year” he will say it’s ok… and I keep on repeating that phrase especially on 11th May, his birthday. Memang kami tak buat anything special pon on that particular day. 

But, hubby didn’t know that dalam diam2 aku actually dah set a surprise for him. Tapi not on 11th May. Ini surprise yang dia takkan expect punya! Hehehe… takkan lah tak de ape2 for his birthday kan? after what he has done for me on my birthday (this entry), mestilah aku akan try my best to also make his birthday a memorable one! 

Hehehe… so this is what I’ve done. I set a birthday surprise for him 40000ft on the air! I myself can’t believe that it can be done. Thank you to MAS and the crew of MH850 for making it happen! 

This is how it goes, I have set the plan weeks before departing by sending an email to MAS. On board I was so nervous because I didn’t know whether the plan is on and how it’s going to be. I waited until food is served still, nothing happened. Then I told hubby I need to use the washroom but I actually went to the pantry at the back and ask the crew about the birthday plan. And yeah! They are aware about it and there is a cake for him. Horeyyy!! I told them our seat number and they ask me to wait on my seat while they prepare for the cake and suprise.

I return to my seat. while nervously waiting for the crew to bring the cake to our seat, suddenly hubby said he needs to go to washroom. I tried to stop him but he insisted to go. Alamak! Abis la surprise macam ni…. When hubby is in toilet, I saw the crew coming to our seat with a cake. I stop them and said my hubby is in toilet. Then we make a sudden change of plan. Instead of celebrating at our seat, we make it in the pantry. Lagipon toilet tu memang betul2 sebelah pantry tu. 

So the crew waited in the pantry and I waited for hubby in front of the toilet door. When he came out one of the crews call him “ En. Faizal, mari sini sekejap” hubby dengan muka panic and terpinga-pinga tanye kenape?? Kenape?? Dia bagitau dalam hati dia kata “aku buat salah ke??” ??? hubby hesitate to go so aku tarik tangan hubby masuk pantry and SURPRISEEEEE!!!!! We sang birthday song and snap banyak2 picture!! The crews of MH850 congratulate and wish a happy birthday for hubby. Hubby?? Hahaha.. lost words… speechless… tak terkata surprise nye! Bukan je hubby, aku pon surprise, macam tak percaya that my plan to celebrate hubby’s birthday 40000ft on the air Berjaya! Hahahaha… I think this is the ultimate one lah! After this out of idea dah how to beat this kind of surprise. Hehehe…

After happy2 in the pantry, we return to our seat and waited for the cake to be served for us… nyum2!! Thak you very very very much MAS and the crew of MH850 especially Hassan, Irwan, Priscilla,Lee, Lim, Bonaventure and korang semua lah!!! I couldn’t have done it without you. You all menang sporting and happening!!! Yeahhhhhh!!

And happy birthday hubby!!! Hahaha.. best kan birthday tak de surprise this year?? Hihihi…

Wedding Anniversary ke 5th

May 2008 - May 2013. 5 years sudah and always pray for many many more years together! Alhamdulillah... i am so overwhelm with this happiness that Allah granted for us.

As usual, we celebrate this special day by going somewhere. This year since it was our 5th year, we celebrated our anniversary lebih grand than previous years. We went to BALI- the place where we first spend our honeymoon 5 years back. Actually we’ve plan for it 5 years ago, during our first honeymoon when we somehow make a wish to come back here after 5 years and we did it! Yeahhh…

Haha.. we actually are not obligated to that wish when we plan for our anniversary vacation this year. We did survey for other places and at the beginning I actually plan for a domestic vacation- Perhentian island, Redang island, Sipadan, etc…. But when we make price comparison macam tak worth je… price is almost the same if we go to Bali, might as well we go to bali and stick to our original plan 5 years back… so to Bali we went!!

And for this 5th anniversary vacation we treat it as our honeymoon. The real honeymoon since Raheel was born. We left Raheel at ibu’s and we spend 3 days 2 nights cuddling in each other's arm, just the two of us! Just like the newly wed! awesome even though we miss Raheel all the time.

It was actually a tough decision to left Raheel, but after many many considerations and convinced that Raheel is now a big boy, he can survive and that he is in good hands, we booked our ticket, for just the two of us! And since it was a vacation without Raheel, we book for a cruise with snorkelling, kayaking, banana boat and many more activities that almost impossible for us to do if Raheel is around. Hehehe… sori raheel, next time we bring u ok…

Our anniversary is actually on 17 May but we departed on 12 Mei and back on 14 Mei. It was an early celebration!! More on our Anniversary honeymoon is coming soon…

Lost @ world of Tambun

15-16 May 2013. It was for Raheel’s revenge after being left with atok and tok ibu when ayah and bonda went to Bali on 12-14 May 2013.

A day after we arrived home from Bali, we drove to Perak to the lost world of Tambun just for Raheel. We checked in at the lost world hotel and spent a night there and enjoyed the theme park. We did all that to redeemed our guilty for not bring Raheel along to Bali. Hehehe…

It was a splendid time we had. The theme park was all ours because there were very few people during our visit.

Raheel as usual lah.. memeng enjoy main air niehhh walopon macam takut2 jerr.... hihi 

and the lost world hotel is not bad... it's not great but not bad... it is located just opposite the theme park. cross the road, walk through the parking lot and u reach the park.. 

the park also not so bad. ada few rides tapi kami tak naik pon coz at tht time raheel tak reach minumum height lagi untk naik rides.. so we just enjoyed the water!!

PRU-13 - Aku sentiasa pilih..

sungguh lah excitednyer.. maklumlah 5 tahun sekali jer mengundi... PRU kali ni kali kedua aku pergi mengundi. masa PRU-12 aku pegi mengundi dengan imik. tunggu kereta 'teksi mengundi' depan umah utk bawak pegi pusat mengundi. main naik jer mane yang lalu. tak kisah lah kereta parti mane ponnn. yane penting sampai! . hehehe.. best! itulah the first and the last time ever aku dapat pergi mengundi bersama imik. PRU kali ni imik dah takde... Al-Fatihah untuk imik...

PRU-13 aku pegi mengundi hubby antar sebab kami tak sama pusat mengundi... Pepagi hubby pegi keje, then after half day keje dia pegi undi kat setiawangsa, pastu dia balik amik aku and shoot to sijangkang, kampung ku.... aku undi DUN Sijangkang, Perlimen Kuala Langat! penuh harapan... agar undi aku boleh UBAH! tapi tak berubah pon.. huh!

hubby tunggu ngan Raheel dalam kereta. aku jalan sorang2 masuk kawasan sekolah tu, jauh gak nak jalan, masa jalan tu teringat kat imik... dulu jalan pimpin tangan imik... sekarang jalan laju2 sebab sorang2.. sayu kejap. pastu cek nama, pegi kat classroom saluran mengundi and undi! sambil2 tu terjumpe sedara mara memang seronok rasanya! meriah! hehe.. 

pastu rasa kelakar pulak bila tengok tangan semua orang calit2 biru... lebam macam tersepit pintu! tapi bangga sebab itulah tandanya saya sudah menjalankan tanggungjawab sebagai rakyat Malaysia... hahaha.. 

malam pulak nervous tunggu keputusan. lepak depan tv sambil sorak2 bila parti yang aku sokong atau pemimpin yang aku sokong menang. paling lega bila putrajaya tempat aku cari rezeki, terselamat. hehehe..keputusan PRU-13 ni, Alhamdulillah.... tapi sedikit hampa... and terasa gerun dan meremang bila tengok bangsa lain bersatu. Bukan takut pada mereka, tapi takut bila sedar betapa bangsa melayu sedang berpecah belah... 

Ya Allah, Kau sedarkanlah Bangsaku sebelum terlambat.... Kau peliharalah Malaysia supaya terus aman dan sejahtera... AMIN....

2nd March... it is our 6th year... and Alhamdulillah… we are still very very happy together and i am always thankful for that moment on this particular day at that particular time and that particular restaurant took its place. It was the beginning for our real happiness...

Hahaha... 2nd March, TGI Friday Subang Jaya, dinner time... for the past 5 years we will try our best to make it happen. Cuma this year we have to celebrate on 3rd of March coz Hubby tak dpt cuti on that day.... However, a day later pon tak pe asalkan we get the chance to reminiscing our beginning of wonderful love story where hubby actually proposed me to be his life partner. I am so glad that I said yes and most of all I’m so thankful that hubby made that move… I still feel flattered each time hubby hold my hands and buat lakonan semula to propose me.

Hehehe… yeah, this year we manage to do that at the restaurant during dinner. Last year kan lupa coz sibuk dengan Raheel’s table manner… this year Raheel dah big boy and bevahe very well. Sempat gak lah nak ade romantic moment… and this year we get to sit at the table near the wall. hihi..

Haha.. for those yang confuse what lah this girl is talking about buleh check my previous previous entry labeled with 2nd march. Then only u can understand. Hehe..

After dinner we go home lah… tomorrow work, mane leh lepak lelama…. Anyway this year tak de exchanging gift. Busy sgt working sampai lupe nak prepare. Hihi alasan ku… anyway, itu semua not a big deal… hadiah2 tu duniawi jerr, yang penting we love each other and we pray that this fire of love and desire between us never fades away…

Happy love day anniversary Hubby Gobee…. Our 6th year dahhh…. Love u more more more!!! And Raheel, bonda love u too!!!!

New Department~ finally...

14 Jan 2013 is the date when I received the news. Kak ida, my boss PA called and say congratulations to me. Huh suspense  btol, aku dpt surat pemangkuan 44 ke? Tak kan lah kotttt…. Bebudak batch aku tak kabow pon…. Then kak ida kate “puan nurul mesti jelous…” nurul is my colleague in Unit P. huh??? Aku dapat surat tukar ke??? Without wasting another second aku hang up the phone and ran to kak ida’s work station. And yeahhhhh!! I got the surat tukar. This was so unexpected!! I’ve lost all hope after heard the rumors on how the management fought for me to be remained in my current unit during the replacement meeting, and thay have strong justification to keep me coz i am involved in ministry restructuring… 

Alhamdulillah…. Is all I can say... Finally I got the chance to learn something new, something other than reorganization. I’ve been doing it for almost 5 years and got tepu already. Same goes to aini, dia lagi lama. Tapi I got the chance first. Cian aini… sabo lah yer… your time will eventually come and when the time comes the management won’t have the power to stop you. Hehehe…

Actually I’ve applied for job rotation once in 2011 and my boss simply says that he won’t peraku it to be brought in the meeting for approval. However aku isi gak so that there will be record yang aku pernah apply. And for 2012 aku dah tak isi coz malas and I know it’ll be for nothing coz chances for me to get a transfer memang very2 low because our department is in critical curve where we need to settle the ministry restructuring in 2013, one of aims in PPPM (Pelan pembangunan Pendidikan Malaysia) and I was one of the key persons for the restructuring.

Ministry policy memang nak move officers yang dah 5 years and above in the same unit/ cawangan, my name memang on the list lah, but I heard that the management mati2 nak aku stay because of the PPPM. Nasib baik lah one of the top management members bertegas and stick to the policy. That’s what I heard lah… yang sebenar jadi tak tau lah kan… tapi whatever it is, dah memamg rezeki aku nak dapat tukar ke tempat baru on 2013. Haha.. sungguh gembiranya!!!! Walaupon pada mulanya my heart was pounding very hard when I saw the new department was PEMBANGUNAN. Glup! People says it is mad house…  takut nyerrr… tapi if we are afraid to explore we will end up nowhere… so redah jer lahhhhh…

My letter stated 16 Januari 2013 as the date of effective, tapi aku tangguh until 6 Feb 2013 to finish up my work in BPSM and to celebrate my birthday before mula keje kat tempat baru.. Now it’s been more than 2 months in my new department. All I can say is I enjoy the new challenge in this new field of work. There are a lot to learn because everything is very new to me. Hectic and challenging but I enjoy it so much!!

Alhamdulillah... dapat jugak tukar.... and bertukar pulak kat tempat paling heaven dalam mad house ni... (member aku kate la... unit aku ni tempat paling heaven dlm hell..) haha... 

menang best but there are times yang memang tak best! haha.. that's normal lah kan. anyway, kerja kat department mane or ministry mane pon bagi aku sama jer....  tetap penjawat awam "saya yang menurut perintah" 

Mega project 2012 - home sweet home renovation

as usual, ini entry yg patutnya dah lama aku post tapi tak siap2... hihi..

Alhamdulillah... I think that's the best way for me to start this entry. Since we bought this house a year ago, we already started pasang angan2 that one day kami akan renovate this house. And yeah.. End of last year we have some extra money and we decided to use that money to renovate our car porch. That was the rainbow that came out of our canceled trip to amsterdam. Haha.. If u all noticed, i have mentioned about our plan to visit amsterdam in a few entries before. Yeah after many2 consideration we cancel the plan -check the story here-

Haha.. Bagus gak kan? If we go to amsterdam we surely get experience, when we tak pegi, we got our house renovated. Either way pon best!

So we started looking for contractors and get quotations for the constructions work. Cari punyer carik none of them giving reasonable price. The work wasn't that major but their price laid between 30k to 40k. Gilerrr... That is the starting price. Kalo buat renovation ni tau2 je lah... Later on mesti ada nak tambah itu ini.. Uhh cannot afford la ini macam..

at the begining tu rasa dah nak give up. may be we cannot afford to renovate our house yet. then i suggested hubby to ask our neighbour next door. he is a designer and just renovate his house. may be he knows contractors yang boleh provide reasonable price. so hubby pon asked him and immidiately he started sketching the design based on our requirement. Siap bagi macam2 suggestion and pro and conts. Maklumlah dia kan designer and he knows best. Then dia kira2 a bit and gave us approximate pricing and most importantly, the price that we can afford! And most most importantnye urusan dengan Majlis Perbandaran dia settlekan sekali… hahaha… tak yah nak susah payah.

Yeahhh.. so excited and we started to plan on when and how the project will begin and the payment structure. We decied to start the project on 1 Nov 2011 after we came back from our Guilin trip. Tak best lah tinggalkan rumah masa tangah construction kan…

According to our neighbour the project will take about 3-6 weeks to complete depending on the weather. After letak deposit we expect the work will start immediately but after a week satu barang pon tak sampai lagi. Hahaha.. I started panic dah kot2 kena tipu coz the deposit paid based on trust and no agreement ke hape. Tapi hubby cool, neighbour sebelah rumah kot takkan lahhh…. Tapi aku panic gak, kalo seribu dua tak pe lah. Ini seploh ribu kottttt!! Haha.. actually kelewatan tu dah diexpect dari awal based on his own house project yang amik masa sgt lama untuk siap. So hubby suh aku sabar dulu.

Nasib baik lah our neighbour ni full of courtesy. Dia siap dtg umah and apologize and explain why the project hasn’t been started. Upenyer kontraktor dia tgh buat finishing kat tempat lain and project delay coz asyik2 ujan and tak dpt buat keje. Dierang nak siapkan sana then baru start buat umah kami. Owhhhhh… Masa tu pon musim ujan… so kami paham lah….

The following week barang2 started sampai and tong sampah empat segi yang besar pon dah terpampang depan umah. Hahaha.. yeahhh… the real project has started. And our live begun to be temporary miserable coz bising, habuk dan kekotoran due to construction depan umah sendiri. Tapi tak pe lah kannn… at the end it all worth it!

So, project started on middle of November 2012 and fully completed on 1 Jan 2013. Sekali dengan tolong cucikan lagi! Memang first class lah. TQ so much! Total cost was about 28K after tambah water filter, itu dan ini… daripada 1^st quoted price 22K lebih, Haha.. tu lah, byk sgt nak tambah2.. seb baek neighbour aku ni tak layan sgt permintaan aku. Haha… kalo tak mau lari budget.

Hehehe… Alhamdulillah… new year… new garage.. buleh la Raheel main lari2 depan umah…

my birthday dinner got surprise!! Haha..

Refer to my previous entry 31st birthday WOWW!!.. Basically that was our plan on celebrating my birthday. Decision has been made, the Lakehouse Cameron Highlands that is! Haha.. this year I’m gonna have a highland birthday!

We started our journey around 10am. It took approximately 3 hours leisure drive from seri kembangan to Cameron Highland. After passing by Rengit I started to open my eyes and look for The Lakehouse as stated in their website their location is in Tanah Rata. looking punya looking I spot the Lakehouse. It is just up the hill by the road. Hubby stoped by the road side and we observed the resort for a while. Hwmm… it is a very nice house… but the location is too far from places of interest there. It is not even reach the Tanah Rata town. Hwmmm too far… 

We both agree to find another hotel on our list, The Ye olde Smoke house or strawberry park resort. Hubby keeps driving. And I keep looking. Then I spot the Smoke House signboard. We  drop by to look around the resort and we got a deejavu- felt like we were in Fresers Hill pulak! Haha.. the surroundings mimics the ye olde smoke house in frasers hill where we’ve been few years back. We really love the hospitality and enjoyed our stay back then. So without doubt we decided to stay in the smoke house. Luckily there are rooms available. We chose the suite that facing their beautiful garden.

The environment in the hotel is very warm and felt like living in English home... staffs were very helpful and friendly. If we want a personal touch, this is the place to be. They know every guest in the house. 

After checking in, we took a rest, enjoying the fresh complimentary fruit, then we went down to Tanah Rata to have our lunch. Hubby said we have a ala kadar lunch for tonight we are going to have extravaganza dinner. Yeahh.. I like that!

After lunch hubby drove again for sightseeing. We stop by their market and have fresh strawberry dip in chocolate. Yummy!! Raheel really liked it! Why eh? Eating strawberry in the highlands taste much nicer than in the lowland (back home)? It tastes sweeter compare when we brought it back, it taste so much sour…

Late in the evening we headed back to our room. Freshen up and get ready for my birthday dinner! We placed our order. For me a roast duck, for hubby a sirloin steak and a buttered rice for Raheel. While waiting for our food, Raheel fell asleep… and he slept until we finished our dinner. Memang kasik chance betol! We left Raheel sleeping on a sofa in the lobby (while the staff tolong tengok2 kan dia) and I get to enjoy my dinner to the max without having to worry about Raheel’s table manner. Haha..

 

 After finishing our main course, I just thought to order desert when suddenly the music in the restaurant switch from a slow love song melody to a birthday melody… everybody in the house looking at each other (well there were only 3 or 4 tables occupied - tak lah ramai sangat). Then a waiter approaching me with a cake in his hands and every eyes turn their direction towards me and then started singing a birthday song for me. I was speechless and can't believe that this is happening to me. I thought something like this is only happening on tv! Haha... Felt like a celebrity pulak!! Thank you so very much hubby!! 

After blowing candle we enjoyed the tasty cake and i still feel like dreaming! I thought staying in ye olde smoke house and having expensive dinner in their restaurant was already enough. I really didn't expect hubby to set a surprise like that.. Oh hubby you make me 
Love u even more!! There's only one thing missing "a surprising gift like a ring in my drinking glass" haha.. Hubby said may be next time.. Then he handed me 3 stalks of red rose and said "this means I LOVE U" hihihi... Hubby ni romantik lah!

Haha.. That was my 31st birthday experience... Thank you again hubby for making my day!! I really am the luckiest women alive on this earth... And i am soooo thankful for that...
