New year 2013!! lalalala...

It’s New Year again! Sayonara to colourful 2012 and a very warm welcome to 2013!

Well 2012 have been so kind to me. It was the year that full with good things and rezeki for me and my family. It was the year that I was showered with happiness and prosperity, look like my wish in early 2012 has been granted - (this entry). Well, some of the realistic wish la… hehe.. 

2012, what have I achieved?  Alhamdulillah…. In 2012 we manage to arrange for an over sea vacation, mega project that I mentioned last year. Hahaha.. tak leh gempak sangat… we went to Guilin, China jer bukan Europe like the original plan.. hehe.. Entry about the trip still under construction even though dah almost 3 months kami pegi , so not blogger tegar lah aku nih! Niway, I will update it soon when dah siap mengarang yerr…

Apart from Guilin we also went for some other small vacations - Singapore , Afamosa resort, Grand lexis PD, aquaria, Gold Cost Morib and lain-lain weekend getaway lagi… kate suke travel kan.. haruslah berjalan selalu.. hehe. Lagipun Raheel is now a big boy and easier to manage compared when he was still a little baby…

And the biggest and proudest achievement of 2012 was our house renovation!!! Yeahhh we renovate our house, not entirely just the car porch and gate. Kasik Nampak luas and cantik… the project begun on 16 November 2012 and now still on going for final details finishing. Yeahh yeahhh… the biggest hajat of 2012 tercapai jugakkkk!! Alhamdlillahhh… the longer story about our house renovation nih next time lah I tell you.

Another sweetest memory was of course my Raheel started walking at the age of 1 year plus. And he started calling me bonda, well not sounds exactly like “bonda” lah. He pronounce it as “apuh” but for me it is acceptable! Heehhe.. and he can clearly say “Ayah”, "atuk" "opah"....  

Haaaa… life in 2012 was just soooo good. Cuma in terms of work it was still brand new boring thing for 2012. Benda2 yang tertangguh masih tertangguh and will be dragged to 2013 and nampaknya sinar2 untuk bertukar to other ministry masih kabur… and chances to be promoted still unseen. I hope 2013 will bring more joy to my working life….

Ok, 2013…. I will try to lose at least 4kg of my body weight. Hahaha! I wanna be like me when I just get married. Kecik molek without much excessive spare tyre especially around tummy. Huhuh.. I will excersice more and control my big appetite.  What an ambitious resolution kan?? I will try my best though! And I hope I will achieve my goal and maintain it so that I can write in my 2013 achievement. Chaiyokkkkk!!! Hehe..

Unlike previous previous year, this year I’m not as excited in making plans… after spent a fortune in vacations and house renovation, I think we need a break from any mega project for at least a year and come out with one in 2014. Hehehe... I want this year to be a year to berjimat cermat and make a lot of savings so that we can enjoy more in 2014. Haha boleh ke?? I will try lah.. with the support from my hubby of course!

I don’t really have plans for vacation in 2013 except may be a vacation during our anniversary. I plan to get a new ride but not planning to get it in 2013. I plan to climb Gunung Tahan but still belom confirm whether or not to go on with the plan. Hahaha.. why eh?? I don’t usually like this. May be I just want 2013 to be a moderate year for me? Hahaha… yo lah tu chip!! anyhow, I will always make 2013 be one of the best years of my life. That’s for sure!

Aqiqah Raheel

ini adalah entry yang dah lama tertangguh.... tapi aku nak masuk jugak supaya aku tak lupa yang kami dah buat majlis aqiqah utk Raheel..

30 Jun 2012- hari majlis diadakan...biasanya majlis aqiqah orang sekalikan dengan cukur jambul kan, tapi kami buat asing2 sebab macam aku cerita dalam entry upacara membotakkan Raheel, majlis cukur jambul buat kat umah mak aku, and majlis aqiqah akan dilangsungkan di rumah mak mertua aku lepas dierang pindah masuk rumah baru.. majlis tu disekalikan dengan majlis bertunang adik ipar aku, and doa selamat house warming... kita 3 majlis dalam satu lah nih! memang meriahhhh...

so, untuk aqiqah raheel 2 ekor kambing telah ditumbangkan.... few weeks before majlis kami dah pegi survey kambing kat kanchong darat banting. tampat tu memang family aku dah biasa pegi. anak2 sedara aku yang aqiqah memang oder kambing dari sini. abang halim nama owner pengusaha kambing tu. kalo nak contact number buleh mintak kat aku ek.. hihi..

yang bestnyer kat sini kita boleh pilih sendiri kambing mane yang kita nak. siap Raheel pon naik kandang kambing gak sebab nak tengok kambing tu dari dekat. masa first time datang kami cuma dapat pilih sekor jer sebab stok kambing masa tu tak banyak. yang ada tak berapa menawan hati. kami nak yang gemoks2! memandangkan majlis pon lambat lagi, so kami pun tunggu stok baru datang...

bila kita dah pilih kambing yang menawan hati, then abg halim tu akan uruskan semuanya siap masak sekali! pilihan menu masakan pulak ada macam2... harga pon beza ikut jenis masakan. menu yang kami pilih untuk aqiqah Raheel ialah seekor masak kari dan seekor lagi masak palembang. memang sedappppp!! paling sedap masak palembang. yummyy... Raheel pon suka! hehehe...

sebelum majlis tu aku ni beriya2 menyiapkan door gift. time cukur jambul aritu aku buat jugak. masa tu gelas ikea (ikea sbb murah and quality)  dgn bunga rampai and cupcake yang dihias dengan riben2 and ada sticker nama Raheel. (urghh tak de gambar benda tu...) kali ni aku decide nak buat yang lebih kurang gitu jugak. gelas ikea (tapi design lain) dengan coklat beryls and hias renda2 and sticker nama Raheel. (waaa.. pon xde gambar jugak..) tak pelah, guna imaginasi jer lah ye.. heheh...

masa majlis tu Raheel sangat lah enjoy. pakai baju melayu and main tolak2 troli kat luar rumah... selamba dia pinjam troli anak orang sebelah umah and buat macam harta sendiri... hihi.. tak seswai la raheel, troli tu mainan utk gurgirl la... hehehe.. tapi he is unstopable... so just let him enjoy lah...

Huru haranya LCCT!!

helloww! dah lama nya tak update blog! hehe.. ni aku excited nak cerita pasal pengalaman bercuti di Guilin, China. tapi sebelum tu aku nak cerita dulu experience aku naik air asia specifically experience pagi hari di LCCT! Ini bukan first time aku naik airasia. Tapi yang sebelum-sebelum ni aku tak pernah kena yang teruk macam kali ni.

Terrible! That is my expression towards passenger handling kat LCCT tu. Begini kisahnya… Semua passenger ke Guilin and Taiwan dikumpulkan kat gate T14. boarding time pulak dekat2. And then kat information screen tu ada stated Guilin departure time, flight number and bay number. Aku perasan tulis kat situ bay F26.

Than ada staff airasia ni bukak pintu and pekik “Guilin Guilin” so semua yang nak p Guilin ni pon kengkabut bangun and terus jalan tanpa ade staff airasia yang lead. Kira kitorang jalan menonong buta2. Aku dok tengok signboard utk bay F26. Tapi kat situ tak dek pon… semua nombor 50 ke atas… ehh pelik dah ni… kami pon stop and tanya pada staff yang poyo-poyo pegang walkie talkie yang jaga kat area tu. Dengan confidentnya dia jawab “Guilin sana... sana…” sambil tunjuk kena p depan lagi. Orang2 yang blur (termasuk kami) pon jalan lagi ke depan dengan harapan akan jumpe la flight tu. Tapi mampos memang takkan jumpa la kan... Flight dah ler banyak… pastu kat situ bukan ade tulis flight ni pegi mane macam tulis kat bas express tu kan… dalam masa sama orang2 yang nak p Taiwan pon sampai berpusu-pusu. Semua blur2 carik flight masing2… huru hara sungguh!

Aku dah lenguh jalan sampai berpeluh2 di pagi2 buta tu, dah ler dukung raheel lagi… bayangkan lah, flight kami 6.25 pagi. Tak pasal2 aku exercise pagi2 buta tuh! Fed up, aku suh hubby tanya kat staff lain pulak. Yang ni pulak kate flight Guilin bay F64, so kena patah balik pulak…

huhhh sabow jer la!! Kami pon patah balik and jumpa lah F64 tu… tapi kat situ ada 2 bijik flight, yang mana satu?? Adoiyaiiii… bodoh betol lah cara dierang handle departing ni. Masa kami tengah blur2 kat depan bay F64 tu datang 2 org stewardess dari belakang. Muka dierang pon berpeluh2. Tanya kami “nak ke Guilin ke?” and suruh tunggu kejap kat depan tu. Dierang pegi ke flight and tak lama lepas tu sorang datang balik and lead kami naik ke flight tu.

Fuhh finally jumpe flight yang dicari2…. Aku ngan hubby jadik orang pertama yang masuk dlm flight tu. And stewardess tu cakap dierang pon lost pusing2 carik flight tu. Memang giler! Aku kesian sungguh tengok ade sorang makcik tua tu. Dah ler sorang2.. ke hulu ke hilir dengan muka panic dia. Dah masuk dlm flight pon dia masih terpinga2 and muka dia still penuh kerisauan takut tersalah naik. Bayangkan kalo dia tak jumpe flight tu. Tak ke haru jadinya…

Airasia kena improve benda ni la.. take it seriously, ni kira isu safety jugak tau! dibuatnya kalo orang salah masuk flight?? Sampai pulak kat tempat lain.. Hah? Sape nak jawab??? and benda ni pon buleh buat orang miss flight kalo tak jumpe2. Nak buat announcement pon tak guna, kat situ bukan buleh dengar ponnnn… bunyik bising enjin kapal adelah!

Memang lah tambang korang murah, orang nak demand byk2 pon tak leh la kan… kalo nak selesa bayar lebih arrr naik airline lain, tapi airasia tak leh la ambik ringan perkara2 macam ni… tapi aku tau ape tony fernandes nak cakap, “ada aku kisah??” kan? Haha..

so sesape nak jimat naik airasia, prepare lah for the worse...

Riang Ria di AQUARIA!!

Hari minggu yang lepas lepas, kami sekeluarga telah pegi bersuka ria di aquaria KLCC. hehehe.. mcm kelakar plak bunyik ayat aku tu...actually dah lama kami berniat suci murni nak bawak raheel pegi tengok fish kat aquaria tu memandangkan dia sangat2 suka tengok fish.. asal Nampak gambar fish jer dia sebut “tishh” tak kiralah kat tv ke kat buku ke mesti dia sebut “tishh” Nampak lopak air pon “tishh” sampai air minum dalam cawan dia pon dia tenung then sebut “tishh” kalo nampak aquarium lagilah dia suke! Tu yang buat ayah and bonda berkobar2 nak bawak dia p aquaria tengok fish tuuu…

Lepas banyak banyak kali terpospond finally dapatlah jugak bawak raheel ke aquaria… yeayy!!! Seronok sangattttt! Bukan raheel jer yang seronok, ayah ngan bonda pon enjoy! Cuma yang tak berapa best terlalu ramai orang. Congested! Sana sini ada orang… nyesal pulak g time weekend. Kalo pegi weekdays mesti best! macam aquaria tu kami yang punya!! Siap boleh guling2 agaknya.. hehe..

Raheel memang sangat suke binatang2 ni, tapi dia ada sikit geli2. Kalo kat rumah tu tengok cicak siap tunjuk2 sebut “cicok.. cicok…” kat aquaria nampak cicak besar dalam cermin tak berani dekat pulak. Haha.. funny betul.. dengan spider pon tak berani dekat. Geli geleman jer muka dia bila ayah bawak p dekat dengan binatang dalam cermin yg ada kat situ.

After area pameran bintang/ serangga2 kat bahagian atas kami pon turun bawah untuk tengok ikan ikan pulak.. turun jer tangga terpampang ikan yang besarrrrr sangat! Ahaa.. memula Raheel tak berani dekat. Agaknyer seram tengok ikan besar tu. tak pernah dia tengok ikan sebesar itu… tapi lama2 dia jadi berani and nampak sangat enjoy tengok ikan berenang2 kat aquarium tu. Tergelak2 pulak tu… hehe…

Paling kelakar bila nak masuk kat area under the sea. Pintu nak masuk bentuk mulut ikan jaws. Kira masuk situ seolah2 masuk dlm mulut ikan jaws tu lahh… memula raheel tak nak masuk! Siap keras2 badan dia tak mo masuk. Tapi pas pujuk2 dia masuk gak and lepas tu ok jerr. Dia sangat enjoy tengok ikan2 yg besar kat dalam tu. (tapi geli geleman tetap ada.. hehe)

Rasa sangat best pegi aquaria! Lagi2 raheel sangat behave, enjoy and hepi. Berbaloi2 bayar enterance fee RM35 hengget sorang. Seb baek Raheel masuk free…

Cuma yang buat agak tak syok, orang sangatal ramai. And amek gambar tak leh guna tripod (walopon kami guna jugak curik2) hihi.. and tak leh guna flash… (pon kami curik2 guna jugak) tapi nama pon curik, tak leh la buat sesuka hati kan.. very lah limitednyer…. And then pulak time pegi tu kami belom beli DSLR… so gambar memang tak cun.. sekadar adalah yang dapat di snap oleh camera biasa kami tu… huhu…

Skrg ni dah ada DSLR, rasa teringin nak pegi aquaria lagi! Hehehe… hubby jom!!

Raheel meets Mr. Barber

17 Sept 2012- Today in history... Raheel meets Mr. Barber for the first time! the last time touch Raheel's hair was about 1 1/2 years back when we do the "Upacara membotakkan Raheel". since then we let his hair grow as they please. haha.. rambut raheel tak berapa nak lebat pon.. but we really sayang rambut dia yang soft, silky and curl2 sket tu...

what make us decide to cut his hair?? urghhh! people always get confuse of his gender. dah terang2 anak aku tu pakai baju melayu pon orang buleh tanya "lelaki ke pompuan" menyakitkan hati sungguh! so to avoid further confusion and rasa tak elok pulak orang asyik ingat dia pompuan aje, kami pon decided to cut his hair (boy style!)

So, this is the story of the historical moment of raheel's life... hehehe..

. ..and at the mamak barber shop, clasic punya yang ada benda merah pusing2 depan kedai tu... (lupe nak snap gambar benda tu) jeng jeng jengg...

Raheel keep his cool sat on the chair. sengih geli2 when mr barber put bedak around his neck. raheel refused when mr barber selimutkan dia, so dia potong rambut without puting the selimut on lah. tak pe... biar penuh rambut kat badan tu, balik boley terus mandi.. kan?

. ...and the process begins... at first raheel seems ok. with his "what's going on" face he sit still as mr barber run the machine through his head. but, the moment he saw his hair drop at his arm, immidiately he jumped from his seat. nasib bonda ada nearby to catch him. tekejut sangat2 kot dia tengok rambut  jatuh kat tangan dia.. sampai nangisss!! hahaha.. kecian Raheel.

 

and this scene continue... however mr barber tetap continue his job while Raheel nangis in bonda's arm... habis dengan bonda bonda pon penuh rambut!

tapi once dah masuk rumah and ajak mandi, happy jerr dia. macam bukan dia jerr yang merajuk tadi.. huhu..

Baked Mac and cheese chip's style

baked mac and cheese chip (blom sempat snap pict dan kena tebuk tupai.. hehe)

Yummy yummy.. Sejak mula puasa tak tau nape tetiba angin aku suke masak datang dgn menderu deru.  May be sebab aku ni over excited dgn adanya oven baru! Haha.. Maka inilah salah satu hasilnya. Macaroni and cheese yg dibaked dalam oven baru aku tu.. Haha.. Rupanya cantik (cantek ke??) and rasanya sedap! (mmg sedap!) Awww perasan aku nihhh.. Not bad for first trial.. Syabas chip! Nampaknye bakat memasak ko belom berkarat walopon jarang2 masak. Ape pon credit kpd sumber resepi yg aku dpt scr online. Kt mane aku dah tak ingt sbb main copy paste jerr..hihi.. Kalo mau ini dia resepinya yg aku dah modified ikut suka hati aku dgn bahan yg ada kt umah supaya dia jadik simple sangat! haha...

sos spaghetti instant - aku guna preggo
cendawan butang dlm tin - hiris keping2
capsicum - dadukan ajerr
italian herb (ala... herba kering yang jual dlm botol cecomel tu..)

tepung gandum
susu segar
salt and pepper

 semua bahan2 tu kuantiti nya aku main agak2 jerr ikut suka. tak de sukat2 punyerr.. haha..

so, macam biasa pasta mesti kena rebus dulu, taruk sikit garam and olive oil kemudian tos kan..

untuk sos merah tu tumis jer bawang pastu masukkan daging. agak2 daging dah masak tuang jer sos spaghetti tapi jgn byk sgt kang jadik kuah pulak. then masuk capsicum and cendawan. biar didih then tabur sket italian herb... siap!

pastu buat sos putih plak. cairkan mentega sampai bubble2 jgn sampai hangit. pastu tabur sket tepung gandum sambil kacau  2 3 menet pastu tuang susu secukup rasa. then salt and pepper. kacau kacau kacau sampai agak2 pekat sket. siap!!

pastu sapu bekas nak bakar ngn mentega pastu lapis2 kan pasta, sos merah, sos putih, pasta, sos merah sos putih... sampai abis. then renjis2 sket italian her and last skali tabur mozarella cheese sesuka hatimu... then bakar dlm oven 190 degree selama about 30 menet or sampai keju tu nampak keperang2an gituuu...

pastu ape lagi??? kita makan laaaaaa!! hehehe.. nyum2!!!!

oven, bakeware dan semangat membara!

Semangat membara sempena telah membeli oven aku pon pergi memborong barang2 untuk baking pada awal Ramadhan aritu... tengoklah gambo tu, itu antara barang2 yang aku beli mengikut nafsu yang agak terkawal. hahaha.. kalo tak kawal lagi banyak aku hangkut! memula tu ingat nak borong yang silicon punya, tapi mahal ler pulak... rasa membazir sbb aku nak guna pon sekali sekalauu.. hihi, so yang tu cukup lahhh.. siap belli container utk simpan barang2 tu..

poyo2 jer beli kan? macam nak baking selalu... tapi xpe, yang penting bila nak guna nanti (entah bila la agaknya?) benda tu dah ada... so far sepanjang Ramadhan ni ade la jugak aku guna banyak kali gak la... time bulan pose ni tak tau nape aku agak rajin sikit memasak... may b sebab semangat ada oven baru tu yang buat aku lagi berkobar2 try resepi2 baru yang guna oven! hahaha...

erm... gambo oven aku tak snap pulak... so amik web jer... taraa....!

inilah oven yang aku bangg2 kan itu iaitu pensonic punya brand yang buleh buat ayam golek2 tu... model AE-420N dgn capacity 42 liter! besau punyerr! haha.. seronok bila dah ada oven! actually dah lama sgt aku ngidam nak beli oven tapi asyik2 delay tak tau sebab ape... asyik rasa kedekut jer nak kuar duit beli oven tu sbb rasa nnt tak guna sgt pon.. tapi seminggu before puasa aritu aku telah mengetepikan rasa kedekut tu and beli jugak oven sambil berazam yang aku akan utilize oven tu cukup! biar berbaloi2!!

hahaha... dan aku berjaya menunaikan azam aku tu... setakat sebulan puasa ni oven tu telah bekerja dengan aktifnya! pertama sekali pastinya mencuba ayam golek! pastu cheese bake rice, pastu baked macaroni and cheese, pastu puding roti, pastu buffalo wing pastu buat kuih raya plak... hahahaha... seronok2!!! tak sia2 aku beli oven! hopefully pasni aku bertambah rajin la buat kuih... pastu buleh bukak bisness kannn?? hahaha!!

anyway, kalo perasan dalam gambo tu ada periuk kukus... yeahh.. itu aku beli semata2 sebab nak try buat kek lumut yang perlu dikukus! dan yang tu pon aku dah berjaya buat! yes!! memang tak sia2.... hehehe..

Lee Chong Wei oh Lee Chong Wei...

Aku ngn raheel bersama 28 juta rakyat Malaysia yang lain baru lepas menonton perlawanan akhir badminton olympic antara Datuk Lee Chong Wei dgn musuh tradisi Lin Dan. adoiii dari mula game sampai ke sudah jantung aku ni bagai nak gugur! huhu.. siap sorak2 Malaysia! Malaysia! lagi... Raheel pon ikut sorak jugak sambil sengeh2 tgk aku stress... mesti dia pelik, kenapalah bonda nih?? heheh..

terlalu besar harapan rakyat malaysia sandarkan pada Datuk Lee Chong Wei, dan bila pingat emas tu terlepas lagi, kecewa nya rasa nak guling2! bukan baskin robin free yang aku harapkan, bukan cuti umum yang diinginkan (errmmm ingin la jugak.. hehe) tapi kepuasan dan perasaan bangga bila akhirnya Malaysia dapat gold medal dlm olympic tu yang sangat2 diimpikan... tapi nak buat macam mana kan? belum rezeki lagi... Chong Wei dah main sungguh2 and aku rasa dia dh bagi all out. tapi mmg xde luck nak menang lagi.. aku rasa badi tak de ong dia lawan Lin Dan tu mmg sgt kuat lah! he needs to break the wall... bila sekali dia menang lawan Lin Dan, cayelah, lepas tu mesti dia tak kan kalah lagi dgn Lin Dan yang sombong tuh!

eiii memang nyampah aku tgk muka bongkak over confident Lin Dan bila lawan ngn Chong Wei. cara dia pandang Chong Wei tu macam dia nampak chong wei nih kecikkk jerr.. macam "alahh.. xde benda lah ko nih!, senang2 jerr aku nak makan ko.., world no. 1 konon.." gitulah aku rasa Lin Dan rasa pada Chong Wei (chewahh... hebat btol aku bleh rasa ape org lain rasa pd org lain) hehehe..

ape pon, kecewa rakyat Malaysia nih tak boleh nak bandingkan dengan rasa kecewanya Datuk Lee Chong Wei bila dia tak mampu nak bagi kemenangan untuk Malaysia. sedihh jer aku tgk dia terduduk lepas dia kalah tu... uhhh kesiann... pas ni nak kena berdepan dgn reporter plak, nak jwb soalan kenapa tak menang?? adoiii... kesian lahh..

Raheel's new gadget

Yeahhh... Tengok lah si budak ni enjoying his new gadget! Actually bonda bought for herself, tapi la ni dah jadi mcm hak milik raheel dah... Pantang bonda pegang je dia hijack! Hahaha.. Tak pelah asalkan raheel hepi... Lagi pon this is one part of learning jugak.. Nnt bonda install banyak banyak educational apps ek... Raheel main lah puas puas!

Currently raheel suka sgt explore photo booth. Enjoy kot tgk muka dia yg cute sgt tu kt screen then capture ngn effect yg pelik2 tu.

Lagi satu dia suka sgt main angrybird! Mcm lah reti... Asyik2 Buat reverse shoOt aje! Haha entah ape la yg dia paham ngn game tu. then dia suke main food process and fruit ninja. Pon tak reti tapi buat2 reti. Hehe... Ape2 lah raheel... Asalkan raheel hepi bonda pon hepi... Lama2 kang raheel pandailah. Nnt besar boleh jadi programmer develop game sendiri... okeyyy??

Mail2blogger problem pulakkkk...

Why?? Why?? Di kala aku berkobar2 nak try mail2blogger ni time tu lahhh service nyer down! Actually dh lama aku tau kewujudan service ni, tapi tak penah teringin nak try. Baru2ni aku berkobar2 nak try sbb nk short cut upload photo dari phone ke blog pasal nak update guna ipad (nokia tak leh bluetooth ke ipad upenyer... Chesss! Ke boleh tapi aku tak reti??)-ni wat rasa nak bli iphone plak nih! Hehehe... Walopon dah dekat sebulan aku ada Ipad ni, tapi tak menyempat2 nak explore sbb asyik kena hijack dek raheel... Memula tu takde la excited nak update blog guna ni pon, tapi bila dok surfing2 tu terasa convenient pulak. Tu rasa nak try tu. tapi gegambow nak masuk dlm blog sume ade kat phone... Leceh la pulak nak kena transfer ke ipad ni. Panjang pulak citernyer! Napelah apple tak suport buletooth device lain? Padahal sama gak bluetooth... Again, ke boleh tapi aku yg tak reti?? Heheh... Tak pelah, ape pon akuk dah berjaya gak publish my very first post thru my ipad! Tapi aku tetap kecewa sbb mail2blogger tu service down time aku sgt2 memerlukan... Ishk2.. And aku tak reti nak masukkan image... Kenapa mcm xleh jer? Adeh la.. Susah btol gune brg apple ni bila kita tak biasa... Kena rajin2 explore nih...

anniversary @ Grand Lexis Port Dickson

Aku nak Sambung cerita pasal 17th May… hahaha.. I don’t care even if now is already july, aku nak cerita jugak! As I wrote on my previous entry about our 4th wedding anniversary ::HERE::
We always celebrate our anniversary on a vacation kan. As I promised, here are the stori mori at the grand lexis… there are 2 sides of stori. One the bad one, and another a good one.

Let start with the not so best to hear:

Few weeks before nak pegi, I have already called for reservation. Thank god, bilik memang banyak lagi because it wasn’t peak season. Sape jer nak check in on Thursday non school holiday pulak tu kan? So I reserve a room and in order to secure a room kita kena provide credit card details sampai cvv code belakang tu pon kita nak kena tulis kat form and fax to them. I don’t really agree on this, rasa concern and tak secure nak provide those information to them. So I paid cash instead. Payment thru cimbclicks jerr….

Before that, I have to wait for them to email the booking confirmation form. I expect them to email it immediately after our phone conversation (like always based on my previous experience with other hotels) , tapi rupenyer I have to wait 24hours for that. Siap aku kena call back sbb dah tunggu punya tunggu tak sampai2, dia pon tak mention to emel within 24 hours… so meaning to say reservation dia agak lembab la… and call pon sikit punya susah nak get thru… not so 5 star la… pas tu pulak, when they finally send the confirmation letter, they asked me to settle it immediately. Imagine ye, I received the emel on 30th April at 4.22pm and they mention on the emel “Kindly find the attachment for your reference. Please sign on the confirmation letter and send it back to us by 30th April 2012” mane sempat! Ko hengat keje aku ni ngadap benda alah ni aje?? So I have to call back and ask about the validity of the form if I were to sign it on 2nd May. Sbb 1st may kan public holiday… seb baek buleh… kalo tak aku nak kena tunggu another 24 hours plak kan for another confirmation letter!

So on 2nd May aku settle kan bayaran. And then pulak I requested for special arrangement since this is our anniversary vacation and I planed to astonish hubby with extended birthday surprise, during the phone reservation I’ve mention about it and the representative ask me to communicate through emel about this matter. So, I did as she says. I explain details about my plan and about what I need them to do. And on 3rd May dia reply will check and advise you accordingly. So I assumed they are working on my request tu la. So I waited for a solid week, and no response… kalo tak boleh, just reply and tell me that they are not able to fulfill my request, habis cerita kan! Ini tak reply2… ingat aku ni byk sgt masa nak follow up2… and I wasn’t request for their service for free pon! Sebab semangat nak surprise kan hubby I shoot another emel to them asking about my request. It was already 14th May only 3 days away from my check in date. Then they called me and explain itu.. ini… end up most of the arrangement buleh dibuat but there is one yang memang dah tak sempat nak buat, yang paling surprise plak tuh! Tulah! Korang lambat sgt respond! Tapi tak pelahh… birthday hubby pon aku dah celebtare kaw2 punya…

Summary: reservation grand lexis, slow and not efficient! Doesn’t reflects 5 star hotel status!

Now the best side:

Hotel dia memang superb! Ambiance memang relaxing and best! Best! Best! reception service pon bagus and friendly sgt. After checking in, we were brought to our room by buggy. Note that the room is quite far from the reception area.

I booked for a deluxe pool villa above water with glass panelled floor. Ini yang jadi favourite Raheel. Sibuk tengok fish (macam ada la kan..) hihi..

Once the door was open, jeng jeng jengg…. A birthday cake was waiting for hubby! Black forest cake yang sedap! Cuma not so presentable because they left the cake in the box. I expect the cake to be put on the table with lighted candle… hehe.. tapi ok laa.. after settle down then only we proceed to upacara memotong kek birthday hubby.

Let’s talk about the room. When I book for a room, the staff told me that deluxe room is quite small. But actually it isn’t that small… ok lah for our family yang bertiga je ni… bilik siap ada kitchen and spacious bathroom. And the best part is of course la the swimming pool. Cuma swimming pool agak kecik la… sekadar boleh sekali kuak dah sampai hujung… but ok lah… nice! Maybe if we go for a bigger room such as executive pool ke, then the swimming pool will be bigger. Tapi bigger room comes with 2 or 3 beds. Nak buat hape banyak2 bed?? The only room with 1 queen size bed is deluxe room..

Room interior nice and simple, Cuma aircond agak kurang sejuk. Usually hotel room kan sejuk tahap beku, but for this one ada sikit warm but comfortable la. Tido tak yah pon nak pakai selimut tebal tu…

Petang tu kami round2 around the villa area. Hwmmm… cantikkk… but if the sea is crystal bule lagi cantik! Tau2 je lah air kat port Dickson tu kan coklat keruhh.. hihi.. time nil ah aku nak terbayang kalau lah skrang ni kita kat Maldives… tak pon sekurang2nyer kat mabul island ke… huhu… best tuuuuuu!!

Hehe.. at night, dinner yang ditunggu2… candle light! Walopon ada Raheel si budak tasyebok, but we really enjoy our anniversary dinner. Dengan setting yang sungguh romantika tu… hihi.. rasa bahagia sungguh! The food also very nice! Nampak portion nya sgt kecik tapi kenyang tuhhhh..! nyum.. nyum…

Most of the time kat sana we spend by berendam dalam swimming pool. Tak cukup dengan pool dlm bilik, pool kat luar pon rendam jugak! The part yang buat aku excited is the water slides for kids tu. Tapi bonda jer yang excited lebih2, Raheel tak suke pon nak main dlm air tu… sibuk nak berkepit with bonda!

Anyway, paling best main air is time Raheel tido lah! Hihih… time ni lah his parents nak bermaharajalela! Hehehe.. kate swimming pool dalam bilik.. dah tengah malam pon kami bantai berendam lagi! Wahhh sungguh enjoy!!! The next day before balik pon sempat lagi main air! And I request extended checkout just so that kami bleh berendam lama2… hihih..

so, bila checkout time dah tiba, terpaksalah kami checkout…. Bye2 grand lexis!!!! Sweet memories we have with you! Hotel ni memang recommended lah for couple to have romantic getaway… serius! Best!!

A'famosa Resort- Birthday vacation & Raheel's first water activity

On 4th Feb 2012 my family and one of my brother’s family went for a short break at A’famosa Resort. We stayed a night at D’savoy Condotel, a 2 bedroom condo, nice and spacious condo with a very nice view.

On morning of 4th Feb (my birthday, hehe) we head to the resort water park. We had a blast with the slides and I was so excited because this is Raheel’s first experience playing in the water and I can say that Raheel doesn’t really like being in the water, he enjoyed it but didn’t really love it. I guess it is because he is high altitude boy. Budak gunung la mcm ayah and bonda dia.. hehe..

After a tiring day swimming in the pool, we headed to the resort condotel. It’s a very nice 2 bedroom apartment, with a spacious living room and a kitchen. Plus, the views from our condo balconies are magnificent! (there are 2 boaconies… hebat kan?) Worth the money we paid for the accommodation (RM388/ night). The only drawback is they didn’t provide kitchen utensils mcm pinggan mangkuk, sudu garfu. Tau lah cooking is not allowed, tapi at least sediakan lah pinggan manggkuk tu…

At night we went to cowboy town! Enterance ticket punyalah mahal! But there’s nothing much to see beside red Indian, live animal and little firework show… other than that, we also watch 4D movie which I think was just ok… and there are other games but they are something similar with what we can get at a common funfair and plus we need to pay for the token to play. After enjoying the carnival, we went back to our hotel and have a good rest!

The next morning we went for breakfast at the restaurant that was quite far from our hotel. And because breakfast venue is centralized for the entire resort residents, it gets over crowded. Not enough food and not enough seats, very noisy and inconvenient. We really were not enjoying our breakfast.

After the not so good breakfast we packing up and ready for check out! Then we went to animal safari.We ride a caged tram and watch free animal (nak naik tram ni pon kena Q sikit punya lama!). Funny la pulak. Macam binatang2 tu yg tgk kita dok dlm cage. Slalu depa yg dok dlm cage! Haha.. after that we watch cowboy show, bird show, elephant show and multi animal show. Then we went to monkey island! Overall animal safari ni memang best!

Late on the evening we leave the resort. Bye bye a’famosa resort… summary: A’famosa Resort was quite a nice resort but vacation there is quite costly. Besides accommodation, we need to pay for parking fee, and high entrance fee for each park. I give 2 out of 5. rendah kan rating tu? basically it is because of the high fee but not so well maintained facilities, landscape and servcie provided in the resort. rasa not worth paying that much (except for the hotel)

Before heading home, we stop by Bandar Melaka! My sister-in-law mengidam nak naik river cruise… after queuing for more than one hour finally we get to ride the boat and enjoy night scenery along the river. It was fun!

After the very tiring long long day we head home with a sweet sweet memories…!! What a birthday! Hehehe…

as 17th May approaching...

. ..it's our 4th wedding anniversary...

We always celebrate this occasion with a vacation and since last year we weren’t able to go anywhere (sengkek sbb duit dah invest untuk beli rumah), this year we were over excited planned for an anniversary vacation. 

 

First planed was to go to Amsterdam on april to see tulip in kukenhof. Kira early celebration lah. Tahun ni ade rezeki lebih sket so bleh la plan lebih sket jugak. But we have to cancel it because considering Raheel yang masih kecik and banyak ragam. Takut dah spend byk2 tapi tak enjoy to the max. 

 

So, instead of going abroad hubby suggest we go domestic jer, so we decided to go penang! Stay 2 night at hardrock hotel. A very nice place where we can access swimming pool from our room. Sadly itu pon kena cancel because suddenly hubby had to go for a team building. Damn! I was so devastated and rasa nak bakar je bank islam tu! Byk2 hari kenape pilih weekend 19-20 may tuh? Tapi kita merancang, Allah menentukan and I belive there is always rainbow after the rain. (cewah… padahal hubby yang pujuk, kalo tak memang aku dah cancel kan semua) nak ikut perasaan, biar tak yah celebrate. Baru bank islam puas hati kann??? Hahhaa… itu pemikiran cetek aku masa tgh frust.  

 

Because of the unpleasant unexpected thing we have to restructure our vacation planning. Instead of staying for 2 nights, we have to cut it to just one night and instead of going nunn jauh ke utara, we find a place that is near to our home. So I booked a room at port Dickson Grand Lexis, with private swimming pool in the room kira the closet I can get to hardrock hotel in penang la… story mori at the hotel later I tell ya…  

 

Ok, after all the plan has set, then we just wait for 17th May to come. 2 days before that as I was still at the office hubby called and told me that he is now at alamanda and asked me to meet him there after work. Eh? Pelik, tetiba plak hubby ada kat alamanda, apehal pulak? Right after work I met him there and he brought me to a kedai jam. Ehh?? Guess what? He wanted to buy me a watch for our wedding anniversary gift! Wahhhhhh… hubby already picked the design, he just needed me to choose the colour, and get the right measurement for my hand. I was so overwhelm!! Suke sgt! Suke sgt!!! Thank you hubby!  

 

Not only that, the next day, masa aku tgh bizi2 kat office, suddenly a bouquet of roses was delivered to me! Wahhhh.. wahhhhh!!! Ini betul2 surprise! Look like hubby pay his revenge ni masa kena surprise kaw kaw during his birthday!

 

 

 

What an amaaazing start for an anniversary celebration!

Hubby's 30th birthday

11th May! Happy birthaday hubby…

This year I was so looking forward for May coz macam2 planning kami dah buat. And one of it was birthday surprise for hubby (but this one I planned all by myself lah without hubby knowing) nama pon surprise kannnnn… berminggu2 aku perah otak on how to make his 30th birthday special and finally when the day has come everything went smoothly. Hehehe…

Kebetulan on 10th May hubby abis keje pukul 11pm and usually he’ll reach home approximately an hour after that. Mmg cantekk arrr aku nak surprise dia!

After work aku pon p alamanda carik barang. Siap tipu hubby lagi kate p jogging. Yeahh, jogging kat alamanda! Hehehe.. sori hubby! Tipu sunat tu…

So around 10pm after Raheel tido aku pon memulakan projek. Taraaa… nil ah dia setting utk birthday party hubby...

 

When all set, aku pon anxiously wait for hubby to arrive… dekat2 nak 12 midnight hubby sampai and I wait behind the door dengan pizza siap lilin lagi! Ahaha.. I switch cake to pizza sbb tak lalu la nak mkn kek memalam buta tuhhh… lagi pon hubby blk keje mesti arr perut lapaq kan!

 

 

So, when hubby open the door, dia disambut dengan birthday song! Hahhaa.. his surprise expression was priceless! Suke aku! Then bila dia tengok setting yg aku decorate tuh lagi lahhhhh. Surprise!! Ehehehe… and kami pon melantak pizza tu sampai abis….

The next morning as both of us have applied for leave I sent Raheel to Opah’s and off we go to watch a movie. It was hubby’s request to watch Avengers on his birthday. So I bought him movie ticket as a birthday treat! Not an ordinary movie ticket, it was gold class one! It was another surprise.

I told hubby I’ve already booked ticket to watch avengers at midvelly. When we arrive at midvelly, I suggest us to go to the gardens to see what’s interesting for lunch. Konon2 nya nak grab a lunch before movie la, padahal masa tu dah lambat dah, logically memang tak sempat nak lunch. Tapi hubby tak bantah pon. Dia tau his wife lain macam bila lapar! Haha… at the gardens instead of pegi carik tempat makan, aku bwk hubby pegi GSC signature. Sampai kat entrance I told hubby tak jadi lah lunch, kita tgk movie terus lah! Hahaha… again hubby was surprised.

We really2 enjoy watching movie at GSC Signature tu. Seat dia incredibly comfortable! With small pillow and blanket, aku dah tahap mcm baring kat umah! Service pulak mmg tip top lah! Hehehe.. rasa mcm VIP! Above all that yg penting hubby suke! 

 

 

After movie we had a nice lunch at garden restaurant. Then we head home.. I was glad that hubby really enjoy his day and it was a memorable one for him! I LOVE YOU HUBBY GOBEE!!! 

 

 

Dah ada RASA!!!!

oppss, kalo tak paham sebelum terus baca refer entry sebelum ni ye..

RASA dah bukak!!! Yeayy!! Penantian yang menyeksakan selama lebh kurang 3 bulan berakhir jua… RASA alamanda dah kembali dgn wajah lebih ceria! Horeyyyy!! Lepas ni dah tak yah susah hati time lunch nak makan kat mane. RASA kan adaaa….

Kedai semua maintain tapi byk rebrand nama baru. Ada few jer yang dah tak de and ganti dengan kedai baru spt kedai asam pedas, ada portugise grill, and ada desert yang best! Hahhaha.. tak nak promote lebih2 lah nanti korang sumer p sana penuh pulak sampai tak de tempat aku nak duduk! Hahhaa.. dengki tak??

Suasana RASA yang baru agak best! Rasa mcm lebih byk seat, Cuma macam agak gelap sket. Ke?? Ke perasaan aku jer?? Haha.. tapi yang tak berapa best tu harga pulak sudah naik laaaaaa… mentang2 rupa sudah upgrade, harga pun ikut upgrade! Dulu teh tarik masa memula dulu RM1.80 jer, tak lama before renovate tu naik RM2, skrg ni lepas renovate RM2.20 ko!! Tapi Tak pe lah, yg penting dia dah bukak!

Bila buat entry pasal deuter bag Raheel, terasa plak aku nak buat entry pasal deuter bag aku. actually aku ni memang peminat deuter, sejak mula2 kenal brand deuter ni masa aku blajo kat U dulu lagi aku dah jatuh cinta. first deuter bag aku harga dia RM300. aku ingat lagi haversack warna biru hitam, 45 litre kot kalo tak silap. banyak gunung aku dah sampai pakai haversack tu. aku memang sangat sayang kat haversack tu!

Time student nak beli deuter memang lah terasa sangat2 mahal, tapi minat punya pasal aku aku beli gak satu bag utk bawak p kelas.biker's bag warna kuning hitam. memang cun!

tapi dua2 bag tu dah tak de. ada sorang mangkuk hayun ni pinjam tak reti nak pulangkan. 

walopon dah bertahun2 berlalu, tapi tiap kali aku beli deuter bag aku akan teringat kat bag aku and sakit hati pada mangkuk hayun tu! 

walopon nilai lebey kurang RM500 tu tak lah besar mana pada aku sekarang, tapi nilai tu sangat besar masa aku belajar dulu tau! 

walopon hubby aku suruh halal kan jer bag yang dihilangkan oleh mangkuk hayun tu, tapi aku tetap haram kan jugak! HARAM!!! paham tak! 

GgrrRrrr!! ni yang aku rasa nak tulis mencarut2 nih! so, sebelum aku carut banyak2 lebih baik aku stop tulis.
